My experiences in life have taught me to live everyday with meaning and intention. My travels in life have taught me to live everyday with passion and purpose. 

With this philosophy in mind, KC Abroad went from a dream to a reality. A Boston native, I met my husband, turned travel partner 20 years ago and we have been on the move since. Over the years we have lived in 6 different states across the U.S., currently calling Portland, Maine home. To date we have explored 53 different countries across 5 continents. Travel is our passion.

It was not until tragedy struck my family for the second time that I began reflecting on my life’s path. I have witnessed both of my parents go from living happy and healthy lives to stage four cancer diagnoses. Last year my Mom lost her battle just five days shy of the twentieth anniversary of my Dad’s passing. This has completely shifted my perspective on life and has motivated me to passionately pursue all that life has to offer.

Hi, I’m Krissy Concannon

I have found the power of travel to be transformative.

Travel has pushed me out of my comfort zone, challenged me, altered my perception and opened my mind. I am inspired by the people I have met, the cultures I have experienced and the beautiful landscapes I’ve explored. It has shaped me into the person that I am today and inspired me to pursue a more permanent role in an industry I whole-heartedly believe in.

My parents have taught me and my travels have influenced me to live intentionally and to make sure that the life in my years count. 

The most rewarding part of being a travel advisor, is the ability to use my expertise and industry knowledge to create unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories for my clients.
